“ The friendliest Schezwan food restaurant in the Northeast! The food is delicious and Im sure authentic guessing from the patrons who are mostly Asian. We have many favourite dishes here. “ We stopped at Cheng Du for lunch and had a fantastic meal! Some of the most delicious Sichuan food weve had a awhile. Highly recommend the garlic cucumbers, dumplings in chili sauce, dan dan noodles, and pork with celery and dry bean curd. We hope to make it back to try more dishes! ”

“ The food is excellent, and appropriately flavored. They start you out with oolong tea, which is authentic tasting. The egg rolls are just okay low on taste but the sauce which is a sweet and sour chili is solid. For a main course I got chicken with garlic sauce and fried rice. Highly recommend. Incredible flavor, not too bland not too spicy, complex flavor profile. Excellent for the cost. Only 15 dollars total for all the food, which is incredible. ”
“ We came for lunch around 12PM for a party of 2. It wasnt very busy, maybe 1 or 2 tables were occupied. We were seated immediately and given a takeout menu to look at. We ordered the Dan Dan Noodles and Steamed Pork Dumplings for our appetizers. For my main dish, I ordered the Braised Brisket with Lightly Fried Tofu in Hot Pot. The Dan Dan Noodles came out first. It was quite a large serving and could probably pass as a entree dish. Even sharing between the two of us, we were almost nearly full by the time the entrees came out. The noodles were good, but a little spicy! It did taste like chili oil as well. If youre not a fan of spicy food, you may not enjoy this dish. The Steamed Pork Dumplings came out next. There were 6 pieces total. I honestly cant remember too much about the dumplingsnot bad but not good. The Braised Brisket with Lightly Fried Tofu in Hot Pot was quite delicious. It is a soupbased dish and theres plenty of it to share. The broth was delicious, though a little on the saltier side. The brisket was a little tough but still good. It does have skin attached to some of the brisket pieces, which I didnt quite enjoy, but there were sufficient pieces without the skin also. The tofu is firm, and as the name of the dish suggests, lightly fried. It tasted good but I wonder if a softer tofu would complement the dish better. Overall, Cheng Du was a nice little spot to stop in for authentic Chinese dishes. The dishes have big serving sizes, so I would recommend ordering less than you would think. We ended up taking most, if not all, of our entrees home. The food was good and the staff were quick and friendly. ”

“ Parking Parking lot available Service We were seated quickly. The wait for food upon ordering was fair. Employees were nice. Atmosphere We went around lunch time and it was not too busy. There was maybe two other parties. Place isnt crowded and noisy which is good. Food This place is great if you want authentic chinese food. I am glad this exists as most places around the area are just fast food chinese food. I love spicy food and I can say that this place makes great spicy food. They have generous portion sizes. Dan Dan Noodles The dan dan noodles were good and had a tint of heat. Although listed as an appetizer, these alone could fill someone up if not shared. Steamed Dumplings The dumplings tasted as expected. Spicy Hot Pot Flavor Fish Filet The fish filet was cooked nicely and you definitely get 30 dollars worth. They dont skimp out on the fish filet. Also comes with vegetables such as mushrooms and cabbage. This dish can easily be shared with 4 people. Verdict Definitely recommend giving this place a try if you want authentic chinese cuisine. ”
